7-3A Floating Gate MisbehavesKeep the LEDs from turning on by themselves, even right after the microcontroller starts up

Power off
  • Resistor (pull-down) (choose one)1/1 left
  • L1–L3 light when OUT1 is H
  • L1–L3 go off when OUT1 is L
  • L1–L3 stay off while OUT1 is Z (input)
  • Don't leave Q1's gate floating
  • Keep OUT1's current to 20 mA
  • Don't burn out the LEDs (25 mA max)
  • No short circuits

Press a terminal (the small ◯) to start a wire. Press where you want to bend to place corners, and finish on another terminal or on a wire. Press the middle of a wire and then somewhere else to draw a branch from there. You can drag parts and wires to move them. When you are ready, press "Run!" to turn on the power, and try the switches while it is on.
